Ok, while creating images the following can be planned for. There will be different size images created. These could be planned to be stored / used from these folders:
A. Original image
This image is the starting image and it sizes will vary.
B. Working images
These are images recreated and resized during the creation process.
B2. Reworking images
The process of creating images many times leads to reworking the created images in various ways
C. Staging images
These are images changed in sizes to lead to the final results. Here larger images maybe created that could be used in a workflow for other final size use in different ways.
D. Final size
These are the images in the correct ratio and pixel file size for use in the final presentation.
The above presents four folder groups. Note each creation is a new image. There is no true editing of the original along the way. Each creation will have its own pro and cons.
