I a life of loss with mixes of joy and sorrows. Many regrates and some awareness of myself and the many short comings that are part of being me.

Both sorrow and sunrise?
These worn hands know
The weight of goodbye
You showed me rivers
Running through stone
Beauty breaks open
What we call home
Your voice in the valley
Echoes still ring
Loss carved so deep
Yet the mockingbird sings
Morning light finds us
Broken but whole
Love's contradiction
Body and soul
Tell me tomorrow
Will make sense of today
When the last breath
Carries us away
Is this enough?

This is all we get
