The awareness that my being is linked to people throughout history is still difficult to comprehend. My DNA was in people through human history and all the milestones of time. Someone was there choosing to have children and to care for their family. In a sense I was there. They moved across the world, survived the natural and man made events of their times. They lived and learned though 1,000s of years. Yet their memories and stories have not been handed down to me. When I came across photo albums and saw interesting people of the past, my family did not recall the people or their names. We are all walking and living on the history the people before us created. I am a living history of the past. I created a series of songs on this topic.

The desire to express my thoughts and emotions with words is an ongoing challenge for me. These computers and spell check can give one the idea that I can express myself. This is not accurate, I use Alexa for word spelling throughout the process of creating this and the online sources I have made. Alexa with a display is setting behind my computer screen and if I have no idea how to put any letters into a word for spell check to correct I ask Alexa.
Here I will provide some behind the screens so to speak, the ideas behind a song playlist. I will try not to share what an individual song is about or reason for it's creation. Music and visual arts are created by the viewer or listener and I am aware that life can change the listener. The life experiences they have gone through changes the way the music and art is for them. The videos are designed to enjoy the image and the music with an intro and exit pacing which supports playing the songs through the playlist. This is like having a concert in one's hand. The posting of individual songs and images enables the viewer to create their own playlist of songs or art they want to experience again.

The playlist "Senses flow" was created as I would listen to songs I created and felt a strong sense of feeling linked to the words in the songs like colors in a painting. These songs touched my senses of smell, touch, taste, sight, smell, while listening "which is using the sense of hearing' and spirit through the mix of music and words. Just listening to the playlist is an experience for me that is unique in its own way.

Feel Flow

I enjoy music from around the world. The experience of feeling emotions through sound is wonderful. The music here is about allowing myself to journey through my emotions. The music will change blending the world together as the different styles are mixed together. Memories of life will occur as the music is listened to, yet the listener is creating the experience and the music is a reflecting pool enabling the experience to occur. I do not have the words to express what this playlist is like for me as I feel my emotions flow through the range of possibilities without words directing them.

Painting Words

Poetry is a focus on the power of words, much like the ability for music to trigger the mind through tones and rhythms. As I was creating songs about many different topics, it was amazing to me how songs created images of places and memories for me. The various meanings of words and the connection of the words interwoven with the music was like poetry to music for me. This lead me to create a playlist of songs that reflected these qualities to me.

Mixed Flow

My range of music interest and the styles within them is still surprising to me. I have created "directed" over 3k singles across many different genres. The influence of lyrics and genres result in different flavors of experience like the taste of ice cream. Expressing the same idea through jazz, country, pop, rock, folk etc. results in a different experience. This playlist provides the ability to hear the same subject topics done across genres. This for me provides a deeper experience on the thoughts like having a conversation with different people from across the world.

Podcast Storydoy Uplifting Mix Music
Ok, 8/10/25
This was the first podcast music playlist I created. I focused on collecting the audio files I had created over months that had sound quality like in a studio track. It happened that over the past 6 months the songs that I worked to improve the audio on had an upbeat message and sound. This playlist brings sunshine in to my spirit and plays great on the car system, computer, cell phone. Moments like this are very special that something I spent so much time on while feeling poorly with depression my hopes of a better day reflecting memories like these.

Here the idea was to explore mixing styles of music with folk so there would a story telling sense yet changes in feel throughout. As I revisit this list it still has not surprises for me.
